Prior to starting Roof Maxx, our founders, brothers Mike and Todd Feazel, spent their time growing and operating one of the most successful roofing companies in the United States. For 25 years, Mike and Todd learned everything there is to know about roofing. They also observed several changes in the roofing industry, including how asphalt shingles were manufactured.
When the cost of asphalt skyrocketed, manufacturers had to include less of the protective asphalt needed to keep a roof strong. With less natural oil enabling flexibility, roofs were failing faster than ever, and finding affordable roofing in places like Sauk City, WI was nearly impossible. It was then that our founders turned their attention to sustainable and affordable roofing.
My brother and I could see the staggering number of roofs at risk across the country and wanted to do something about it. Now, through Roof Maxx, we’re looking out for asphalt roofs, the people under them, their hard-earned money and the planet.
Mike Feazel
CEO, Roof Maxx
In 2013, Mike and Todd sold their company and to focus on affordable roof rejuvenation. Upon partnering with Battelle Laboratories, Roof Maxx was created. Our roof rejuvenation product is made from natural, plant-based oils that penetrate deep into old shingles. When applied, weak, brittle, and ineffective shingles are made strong and flexible again.
A single treatment of Roof Maxx can add five years of life to your asphalt roof, and regular treatments of our product can extend its lifespan up to 15 years. The best part? Roof Maxx costs just a fraction of roof replacement, which means you keep more money in your pocket. At Roof Maxx, we’re proud to provide the most affordable roofing in Sauk City, WI. When they came out to apply the Roof Maxx product, it was, maybe, 2 hours. You didn't even know they were there.
I was really impressed with the safety equipment and the extra time he spent on the roof. I've just never seen a company work like that. I really haven't.
I'd recommend Roof Maxx to anyone interested in preserving their shingles and getting the full life out of them.
I'm just really thrilled about the whole process. I'll be sharing that information with everybody I know.
