In 2018, I moved to Greenville with my wife and three children to continue my career as a financial advisor for one of the largest investment firms in the country. Being seven hours away from family has its challenges, but we have no regrets about making Greenville our forever home.
Covid-19 presented hardships and challenges for us all, but I found that it was also an opportunity to reflect on the accomplishments in my professional life and consider what I wanted to achieve in the future. After much prayer and reflection (and the support of an amazing wife and kids) I decided to walk away from the career that had provided for our family for 15 years. I was blessed to be able to spend the ensuing summer months with my three children and focusing my efforts on fulfilling my lifelong dream of owning my own business.
After considering opportunities in many different industries stretching from a bakery franchise (Parlor Doughnuts...coming to Greenville soon! You can thank me later), to a family-run water well drilling business, I ultimately realized I wanted to own an innovative business in the home services arena that would add value for property owners, be environmentally friendly while financially affordable for everyone.
