My wonderful wife, Deanna, and I have been married for 24 years. I was born and raised in Michigan. Deanna was born and raised in Florida. We moved to Georgia in 2007 for family caretaker support, which was a blessing in so many ways. We both started different careers. I was a store manager/HR corporate leader with a major grocery chain for 14 years. Deanna started a career in transportation as well as being a travel agent. We have two amazing children, David and Lyndsey and three amazing grandchildren. We love anything outdoors, travel and quality time with family and friends. We are also active with our church family and community to support and encourage one another.
Deanna and I were business owners when we lived in Michigan for several years. Moving to Georgia, we both began careers with employers, rather than chase our entrepreneurs dreams. We have both been looking for a different career path to choose. We have looked at purchasing other franchises in the past. After hearing about and diligently researching Roof Maxx, the choice was very easy to join. Roof Maxx checked so many of the key boxes that we needed for us to commit to the company. Community based, actively involved with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Foster Children, great support of the Roof Maxx team, great product and service to offer our community and the ability to start and grow a generational family business for our children and grandchildren.
We thoroughly enjoy being and active part of our community. We sponsor our local football and softball teams that our grandchildren play on. We are active in our church which also helps support our community family. Very proud of participating in the Maxx Giving Pledge, a partnership with the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption, with a goal of finding forever homes for 25,000 children by 2030. We love and support small businesses in the communities we live in. Being local makes it easier to develop quality relationships and partnerships as we press on to support those in our communities.
